‘Ulu’ (head, Bataknese) is a RPG game concept art project inspired by the effects of colonialism in rural North Sumatra, Indonesia. Designed for ages 15 and above, it tells a story about a young chief, Ulu, trying to lead his people after the arrival of expansionists trying to exploit the natural resources of their isolated island. Attached below is the image gallery of the designs made for this project.
Course: CONCEPT ART
I, Nicholas Patrick, am a Concept Artist seeking work in the creative industry. Prior to Teesside University, I completed a diploma in Digital Animation. Therefore, I have to flexibility to operate between 2D and 3D Softwares. My previous engagements in team projects have made me hardworking, resilient, as well as a good team player. As an artist, I actively seek and welcome feedback.
Softwares : Photoshop, ZBrush, Maya, Substance Painter, 3DCoat, Keyshot, Adobe AfterEffects and Adobe Premiere
Previous Volunteering and Work Experience:
1. ‘A Place Called Home – Negara Kita’ – National Art Gallery, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
