Why Animation at Teesside?

At Teesside you can develop professional skills Visual Effects, 2D and Stop Motion and 3D Animation,

Our courses allow you to explore your own specialism through working as part of a team on industry led briefs and short films.

As well as dedicated animation studios, you have access to life drawing spaces, recording and motion-capture studios, and a fully equipped sound stage including green screen facilities and motion-control cameras.

Graduates can be found in the world’s top studios working on block buster movies, television series and games.

Summer University – Short Online Courses

Our Summer University short online courses are ideal if you wish to learn more about a new subject.

Taught and assessed by university tutors, Summer University can help you prepare for your degree programme in September by developing your knowledge and skills in a relevant subject. You also gain valuable experience of university style teaching and assessment.

Summer University short courses are delivered online over 4-6 weeks in July / August 2020

They are free if you go on to enrol on a degree course at Teesside University
