BBC Tees is one of the biggest media organisations in the region and its sports division is heard and watched by thousands of people.
But what is it like behind the mic and behind the keyboard?

Dan Ragusa is a social media journalist at BBC Radio Tees.
Dan said: “Before the game, the first thing I do is team news. During the games I make sure to listen to the radio coverage to get quotes from our presenters. I get halftime graphics prepared and posted when they need to.
“After the game it’s getting quotes from the manager and getting reaction from the game. It can get really hectic so it’s important to stay on the ball. I really love what I do because you get to tell the stories of our local teams on a weekly basis.
“Getting to interact with fans and give them a voice is really special.”

Harry Roy is a freelancer at BBC Radio Tees. He goes live every matchday and keeps listeners updated on the games.
Harry said: “On matchday I present the Hartlepool United coverage. I take time before kick-off to prepare and research the game. I make sure my timings are spot on. I play the manager’s interview and player interviews before and after the game. It’s something I’ve worked towards my whole life.
“To be only twenty-four and to be broadcasting to tens of thousands of people is surreal. Especially when your covering your local sports teams. It’s a lot of fun to do. It doesn’t feel like work.”
