Darlington Football Club have launched an app for fans and supporters to interact with the club in a new way.
A team of developers worked together to create an app which features fan predictions, live match updates and player and manager interviews.
The main developer of the app, Chris Stockdale, said: āWe wanted to create a single, easy-to-use platform where Darlington fans could stay connected with the club.
āItās been a big project, but an exciting one, especially as weāve developed it entirely in house.
āThe process involved integrating key systems like our YourClub owner platform, retail and live match updates.
āOur aim is to make the Darlington FC app the go-to platform for fans, offering instant access to news, live match content and exclusive features.ā
Stuart Armstrong, commentator on Darlo Fans Radio said: āIām excited that the Darlington FC app is ready to launch.
āHaving all the Darlo news, live updates and extra features in one place is really useful and will allow us to bring better and more targeted content to our fansā.
The app was first used for a live match on 1 March in the Quakersā National League North encounter against Brackley Town.
The club currently sit 11th in the league but have as many as three games in hand on some of the clubs around them as they look to push for a play-off spot.
After its initial launch the app has been a real success and can be downloaded on both Apple App Store and Google Play.
