The Hardwick Brothers: Teesside’s Champs compete on the same card for the first time

Two brothers from Boro will set history as they defend their world titles on the same card for the first time at Cage Warriors 186 in London.

Brothers Harry and George Hardwick will defend their Cage Warriors Championships tonight (Friday, 21 March) starting from 5.30 PM GMT.

The Hardwick brothers have taken UK MMA by storm with many fans believing they are both ready for the jump up to the World-leaders UFC all from their local gym on Linthorpe Road above a Boots Pharmacy.

Both brothers find themselves as title holders with Harry Hardwick the current Cage Warriors Featherweight Champion and George Hardwick the current Cage Warriors Lightweight Champion.

Harry finds himself on his second title defence after winning the Championship last year in Newcastle at Cage Warriors 172. He finds himself up against American fighter Javier Garcia in the main event of the night.

George will also defend his title earlier on the card as a Prelim special as he faces Brazilian fighter Samuel Silva after originally being scheduled to fight last week at Cage Warriors 184. That fight had to be moved to this card as his original opponent pulled out of the fight due to an injury.

This will be big for Teesside to have two brothers from Boro fighting on the biggest stage in UK MMA as champions with the potential of the UFC calling with wins tonight.

You can watch both brothers fight tonight live on the UFC Fight Pass.
