Eligibility and gaining access
Who is eligible to use the Creative Cloud?
Current staff and students at Teesside University have access to the Creative Cloud through their university email logins.
I currently have an Adobe Creative Cloud account that I pay my own subscription for. How do I cancel this and gain access through the university?
TO CANCEL
- Sign into account.adobe.com/plans
- Click manage or view plan
- Under plan information click cancel plan
- Indicate the reason for cancellation, and then clickĀ continue.
TO GAIN UNIVERSITY ACCESS
- Go toĀ com
- Click on āSign Inā on the top right
- When you sign in: Be sure to fill out the email address field using your Teesside University email address
- Click āSign-Inā
- Sign in using your Teesside University credentials.
Select the software you want to download (you now have access to all of Adobe Creative Cloud)
What do I do if I was able to log in to Creative Cloud, but Iām only seeing the āfree trialā option and not the āinstallā option?
If you donāt see the āinstallā option,Ā follow these instructions on Adobeās website.
What are the system requirements for Adobe Creative Cloud apps?
For optimal performance with Creative Cloud apps, we recommend you keep the operating system of your computer or mobile device up to date. For desktop apps, use no earlier than two versions back of Windows or macOS. For mobile apps, use no earlier than the previous version of iOS or two versions back of Android. Can I use the Creative Cloud on my mobile device?
Yes. Teesside Universityās agreement allows for usage of the Creative Cloud mobile applications such as Sketch. They are available on iOS via the App Store and on Android via Google Play.
How many computers can Adobe Creative Cloud be installed and running on?
You may install and use the software two or more computers. You can remain signed into an app on two computers; however, you can use your app on only one computer at a time.
Some applications, including Premiere Rush, Spark, and others also run on mobile devices, with the ability to share projects and files from one device to another. Mobile app use does not count toward the two-computer limit.
Can I use the Creative Cloud without internet access?
You must connect to the Internet when you want to install Adobe Creative Cloud apps, such as Photoshop and Illustrator. Once the apps are installed on your computer, you donāt need an ongoing Internet connection to use the apps.
You can use the apps in offline mode with a valid software license for a limited period. The apps attempt to validate your software license every 30 days. You receive a reminder to reconnect to the Internet to validate your license:
Do I have to store my files in the Adobe Cloud?
No. You can store the files in any location you choose.

What happens after I leave the university?
The access stops once you are no longer a student or staff member at Teesside University. You will need toĀ purchase your own accountĀ if you want to continue using the software.
How do I keep access to my content after I have left?
Graduating Students:Ā Adobe has created a process for you to migrate your content to a free account so that you can keep all of your work. If you want to continue creating new content, you will need to maintain a personal subscription, but you can retain access to the work you have already created by visitingĀ https://graduation.adobe.com.
