I have produced a showreel to showcase the animations that I made while at university. The shots in the reel are both independent works and my contributions to group work that exhibit a range of animation styles such as acting, dialogue and creature. I have focused on acting performances the most and have developed the shots further by pushing personality, believability and appeal. I have gained valuable skills by studying other animator’s work and a range of animation material, as well as practice based study.
For my final year project, I started to make a short film called ‘Imagine’. I have included some finished shots in this showreel. The film centers around a young boy who is Deaf and his service dog, I chose to make the film to highlight Deaf/Hard of Hearing representation in animation and I look forward to finishing it in the future.
