It could be raining, snowing or there even beĀ storm brewing, but for Debbie Burdon is does not really matter.
She had waited sixteen months on the waiting list, until she was able to get her new lungs.
At the age of six, Debbie was told she had Cystic Fibrosis. From then on her life became surrounded by hospital appointments.
Twenty four years later, she caught phenomena and was told she had to have surgery.
Her life began to fade away and she started to believe she wouldn’t see her next Christmas.
The double lung transplant she recieved gave her the chance to live twelve years longer than she thought.
Now, at that age of forty, she has a new perspective on life and encourages more people to donate.
