Hungarian indie rockers set for the North-East

Melodic indie rock band Dirty Slippers, from Hungary, have announced their first UK-wide tour with two North-East dates.

The band will play songs from their new album, recorded at the Abbey Road Studios with multi awarded producer George Shilling.

The Hungarians will start in London, at the iconic Camden venue, The Dublin Castle, and then head north, followed by Whitchurch, Stockton on Tees and Newcastle.
During the four-stop tour, fans will be able to hear songs such as “Honest Kid”, which got the band onto UK radio and press, and “Wide Open”, which was presented by Planet Rock Radio.
The band will be making an appearance on TUXra show New & North East with Robyn and Kayla.
Presenter Robyn Pollard said: “Make sure to head over and give that a listen – we’ll be live from 4.30pm this Saturday and you can listen on our website. We can’t wait for it.”
The Stockton gig will be in NE Volume on Saturday, November 30.
The tour is presented by Reaction Management Glasgow, Camden Live and Metathetic Music.
