The aim of this project was to create a 3D environment inspired by the game Tom Clancy’s The Division, whilst following up to date industry pipelines and practices. I wanted to create an environment that would showcase the ability and skills that I have acquired whilst at university. As well as become more efficient in creating more complex materials within game engines and learn new skills.
The main focus of the scene was to create a gritty realism feel with the set dressing telling the story for the viewer. Using composition and colour theory to set the tone and complement the assets within the environment.
Throughout the project industry-standard software was used such as Maya, Zbrush, Substance Painter and Designer, Photoshop, Unreal Engine 4, Marvelous Designer, and Agisoft Metashape.

Biography
I am a highly self-motivated 3D environment artist with a real passion for world-building and storytelling within my environments. I was previously a chef for 14 years before pursuing my passion for 3D art in 2016, and it was honestly the best decision I have made, I love what I do and the people I have met along the way have been great.
