For my final year project, I created a collection of concepts for a noir/horror action-adventure game. This included final character and environment designs with concept pages showing the development of my work through the course of my project.Ā The game follows two detectives as they race against time to catch a nefarious and unusual killer in the depths of old London town. For this project, I focused mainly on developing existing skills and improving consistency and presentation. I also experimented much more with photo bashing as a technique to produce more concept work quickly. I also noticed a drastic improvement in my environment and character drawings throughout the course of the project via refinement.Ā Enjoy!

Biography
Hello!
I’m Dominic, a third-year Concept Art student
I have a background in traditional and digital mediums, with a passion for the media and entertainment industry, as well as reading and sports activities. I’m also a more than capable team member, hard-working, and eager to learn where possible and have lots of space for development. I find myself specifically drawn to abstract and expressive work and murky or dystopian themes. I am particularly strong at generating ideas and characters with depth, approaching tasks, and projects with an open mind and a fearlessness when throwing myself into new challenges. I mostly enjoy concept work that presents characters or environments uniquely without compromising on the content.
