THE WIZARD’S STUDY – AYA AL-BAYATI
I have chosen to exhibit my latest project a diorama titled The Wizard’s Study.I wanted to create an environment that told a story, this was portrayed by the wanted poster, the missing potions, the recipie book for the love potions, the residue of the magical particals in the air and the potion remains on the ink and quill as well as the portrait of a woman on the second floor. All of these told a story of a wizard that used dark magic to gain the love of the said woman in the portrait. This creation was inspired by the 80s song You Can Do Magic by America.
The blocking out and modelling aspects were done in Maya after some thorough research to get an accurate architectural representation. The texturing was a mix of using Substance designer, substance painter and unreal engine.
