Course: Concept Art BA(Hons)
Biography
I am a graduating concept art student looking for either a full-time job or an internship in concept art or 2D animation as these are my primary interests.
For my final year project, I combined my two passions in creating a 2-minute long animation where the focus was on teaching myself both a new software and skillset: animating.
From this, and the research I carried out alongside it, I learnt how to use TVPaint Animation and the profession process for animating.

Employment, Work Experience & Volunteering
- 2012 Cook’s Assistant [Food Preparation] at Jesus College: working under time constraints, completing tasks individually but as part of a bigger team. Learnt to use advanced cooking apparatus and developed basic food preparation techniques.
- 2016 Catering Assistant at Sidney Sussex College: working in a high-pressure environment, learning to take initiative. Setting up formal dinners and formal events, serving, working the till and clearing away food.
- 2016 Deliveroo Rider: working under time constraints and with lots of customer contact.
- 2018 Media Kitchen: working under lab conditions, independently but in coordination with the wider team. Occasionally high pressure and requiring precision; including developing a wide variety of skills associated with media preparation/management.
- 2019 Freelance Artist: Communicating formally to employers and understanding their requests. Working under deadlines with expectations of my best quality work. Creating early development work to make sure the client is happy with the direction of the piece and ensuring they are satisfied with the final product.
